Local 99 – Dalhousie Operational Support Bargaining Update: Ratification Results
Your bargaining committee is pleased to announce that your tentative agreement has been ratified by 64 per cent of the members that voted.
The bargaining committee appreciates the support and solidarity you have shown during this round of negotiations.
As discussed in the information sessions, the tentative agreement includes a change to the CPP enhancement language which effects multiple Dalhousie Bargaining units. Late yesterday, the employer contacted us to advise due to special market adjustments they will be wage matching porters, groundskeepers, vehicle operators and mailpersons to the custodial rates.
We anticipate information regarding retroactive pay next week and will communicate that information once it’s received.
