Are you interested in become a facilitator for the NSGEU Bully-Free Workplaces Program?
Dear members:
We are very excited to be offering you the opportunity to become a new facilitator for our internationally recognized NSGEU Bully-Free Workplaces Program. The program is based on the principle that every worker deserves a safe and healthy workplace, both physically and psychologically, where they are treated with dignity and respect.
Mental health in the workplace is a huge Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) issue and the NSGEU has been leading the charge to improve the psychological health and safety of workers in Nova Scotia since 2010.
If you are interested in becoming a facilitator for our program, we would love to hear from you!
All NSGEU facilitators will receive training to deliver our very popular and effective Bully-Free Workplaces Program in workplaces throughout the province. They will also receive training in the National Standard for Canada for Psychological Health & Safety in the Workplace. Training is ongoing and materials are kept current and up-to-date. This is a good opportunity for those who wish to expand their experience in OH&S training and adult education.
Since the launch of the program, over 14,000 Nova Scotians have taken our program. Although this is an impressive number, we have only reached approximately 25 percent of NSGEU members and now we are looking for your help in order to continue to grow and shift workplace culture.
If you are interested in this OH&S training opportunity, please apply online using the link at the bottom of the form. The deadline for applications is Friday, Dec. 4.
If you have questions regarding this opportunity, or the program please feel free to contact me. We look forward to hearing from you.
