Calling all Home Support Workers – Demonstration on Sat. March 29 – No Blackmail Bargaining
It is time to tell the Stephen McNeil government what you think of the legislation that effectively took away the right to strike from home support workers.
Come out and join NSGEU President Joan Jessome at a demonstration this Saturday, March 29th at the Liberal Party Annual General Meeting starting at 11:30am and ending at 1:30pm outside the Westin Hotel located at 1181 Hollis St., in Halifax.
We have launched a legal challenge of this legislation, but we also want the government to know that we will not be silenced. This fight is not over and we will never accept blackmail bargaining.
If you are planning to attend the demonstration, please contact your local president.
Please spread the word!
Thank you and we look forward to seeing you on Saturday!
