Civil Service Bargaining Update – June 28/13
The Union Negotiating Committee (UNC) is pleased to advise that they have had an opportunity to review and respond to the employer’s most recent proposals.
After some further improvements and language adjustments, the committee believes that the present offer is one that should be considered by the Bargaining Unit Negotiating Council (BUNC) for a recommendation of acceptance.
We will be arranging for a discussion with BUNC as soon as possible. If a recommendation is made for acceptance, we will send out information packages and ballots for a mail-in ratification vote. We expect the vote will be counted by the end of July.
