Contact your union if you have any workplace health & safety concerns

This is a message for NSGEU members working for New Heights (Cape Breton), Wood Street (Truro), Nexus (Kentville), New Hope (Dayspring), and Janus/Bridges (New Glasgow),

Thank you for the work you are doing providing this valuable service to Nova Scotians at this time. You do important and challenging work and it has become even more challenging in these difficult circumstances.

I am hearing a few concerns from your Employee Relations Officers and wanted to reach out to remind you we are here and a source of support.

Safety is a process and requires constant improvement and evolution. If you have any health and safety concerns, or you have some thoughts about how safety could be improved in your workplace, please let us, your union, and/or your Supervisor know.

You can reach us during regular office hours Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. by calling toll-free – 1-877-556-7438 or by email at inquiry@nsgeu.ca.

Thank you again for your work and your dedication to the job you do and the youth you are supporting at this time.

Please reach out if you need us and send this email to any coworker who may not have received it.

In solidarity,

Jason MacLean

President, NSGEU
