International Day of the Girl Child: October 11th
International Day of the Girl Child is a day celebrated worldwide, championing the rights of girls and reflecting on the challenges they face based on their gender. This year the United Nations chose the theme of: My Voice Our Equal Future, this reminds us that everyone benefits when girls have the chance to excel.
