Local 101 — LPNs, Nova Scotia Health Authority Nursing Central Zone Update on Reclassification Process
The LPN Reclassification Committee received many responses to the questionnaire that was circulated in August, and has thoroughly reviewed them all.
Your submissions were excellent – you sent in great, concrete examples of how the complexity and independence level of the duties and/or responsibilities of the LPN position have changed! The submissions will now allow us to further substantiate our claim and move forward to the next step, having the role assessed as described in the Collective Agreement process.
Your submissions also gave us plenty of exhibits/evidence in case the process requires that: thank you!
We will be sure to continue to provide you with updates as soon as we have new information to share.
