Local 1783: Bargaining Update: Tentative Agreement Ratified
Dear member,
Your bargaining committee is pleased to announce that your first collective agreement with the Black Loyalists Heritage Society of Nova Scotia has been ratified by 100% of the members that voted.
This first agreement will effect a wage improvement for the bargaining unit of over 50% including economic increases and wage adjustments.
Other highlights include a one thousand dollar signing bonus and ‘no contracting out ‘ language.
We would like to thank you for your support and patience through this round of bargaining.
Updates on the signing of the collective agreement will be provided when completed.
