Locals 31, 35, 40 & 85: Home Support VON, Kings/Annapolis, Colchester, Tri County & Pictou County Tentative Agreement Meeting Details

Good afternoon,

Last week, we sent an email advising that your bargaining committee had reached a tentative agreement that they will be recommending for acceptance to the membership, and that we were in the process of scheduling a series of meetings members to discuss and vote on the agreement.

It is critical that you attend one of the meetings planned for your local, as this tentative agreement contains significant differences from your current collective agreement. You can drop in at any time to the meetings listed below.

The times & locations of these meetings have now been scheduled as follows:

Tuesday, July 23^rd – Local 40 (Tri-County)

• 3 to 5 p.m. in the Sobeys Community Room, Shelburne
• 5:45 to 7:45 p.m. in the Barrington Municipal Office Boardroom

Wednesday, July 24^th – Local 85 (Pictou)

• Noon to 2 p.m., Atlantic Superstore, New Glasgow
• 5 to 8 p.m., Atlantic Superstore, New Glasgow

Monday, July 29^th – Local 31 (Annapolis/Kings)

• 10 a.m. to noon, Annapolis Royal Volunteer Fire Department
• 2 to 4 p.m., Aylesford Fire Hall
• 6 to 9 p.m., Louis Millet Centre Multi-Purpose Room

Wednesday, July 31^st – Local 35 (Colchester/East Hants)

• Noon to 4 p.m., NSGEU Truro Office
• 5 to 8 p.m., Sobeys Community Room, Elmsdale
