Province Applies to Labour Board to Form Single Bargaining Unit for Housing Agency
The Union has received a copy of an application made by the Province to the Labour Board. The province is requesting that all members of the newly formed Nova Scotia Provincial Housing Agency be consolidated into a single bargaining unit. A copy of the letter, application, and forms can be found here.
The Union has ten business days to file a response. The application has many implications including bargaining. Work is already underway by the Union to prepare a response to the Labour Board application and more information will be provided over the coming days. The Union wanted to be sure that you are aware of this development and that the Union is working on a response.
