Action Needed NOW: Last Chance to Shut Down Bill C-377!!!
Conservative Senators have given notice of a motion to change the rules of Senate in order to ram through anti-union Bill C-377 TODAY (Friday June 26th) before the Senate finishes sessions for the summer. They are trying to change the Senate rules to their advantage to pass Bill C-377 right in the middle of a democratic debate.
We need to let Conservative Senators know that they can’t get away with using dirty tricks to subvert democracy and pass bad legislation!
We are calling on YOU, our activists, to email and phone Conservative Senate Leader Claude Carignan (email claude.carignan@ sen.parl.gc.ca or phone 1-613-992-0240 or 1-800-267-7362) and Conservative Senators from Nova Scotia (see contact information below) to say that this is outrageous.
