Case Aide Classification Appeal Update
Good morning,
Over the past months, the Case Aide classification appeal has been discussed with the Public Service Commission (PSC). We are now in the process of arranging a meeting with the PSC and Case Aides so that the PSC can hear first-hand about how Case Aides have been impacted, and the reality of your day-to-day responsibilities.
Our group’s preparation for that began at an all-day meeting we held with your representative Case Aides on Thursday, October 11th. We have an excellent group representing Case Aides from around the province. We plan to hold another meeting with your representatives before we meet as a group with the PSC. After that, a Tribunal hearing may still be necessary, so we are also simultaneously starting to work with potential witnesses to prepare for that hearing. There are still other groups in the line-up for appeal hearings, who began the classification appeal process before the Case Aides, so we expect a potential hearing would be held around early summer 2019.
Your representative Case Aides are:
Patricia Stephens-Brown
Keri Duffney
Joanna McNeille
Lois Finley
Danielle Brauen
Lorelei Coombes
Cheryll Cromwell
Heather Loadman
If you have any questions or concerns about the classification appeals process, please contact one of your representative Case Aides listed above.
