Local 85- VON Pictou County Collective Agreement Ratified

Members of Local 85, home support workers who work for VON Pictou County, have voted 88 per cent in favour of accepting their employer’s final offer.

We appreciate that this has been a difficult process for members of this local, given the government interference in the collective bargaining process. The bargaining committee worked very hard on your behalf during this round of bargaining. They would like to thank you for your support throughout this process.
