Local 97 – CDHA Nurses – Strike Pay
During the one-day strike on April 3rd, Capital Health applied a special assessment to the pay of those who delivered emergency services. That special assessment amounted to 50 per cent of the pay for those who delivered the emergency services earned during the time of the strike. The amount was deducted from members during the last pay period.
The Union and Capital Health have discussed this matter and have agreed to reverse the special assessment.
Capital Health has informed the Union it will process the reimbursement on the May 29th pay.
