NSGEU Home Care Workers: Bringing Health Care Home

Today, the NSGEU is launching an online advertising campaign to raise awareness of the importance of the work our home care members deliver throughout the province. The campaign will be featured on a wide range of media sites as “pre-roll” video, played before and during other video content.

We understand that your profession has faced disrespect from this government, and that the hard work you do each and every day can be overlooked or underappreciated by the public. You are the people who show up at Nova Scotians’ homes, day in and day out – in all conditions – to provide care to some of our most vulnerable citizens.

We will be doing our best to raise public awareness of the important role you play within our health care system as we head into bargaining with many of your employers over the coming months.
