NSGEU members remember. We honour those who have laid down their lives in the line of duty.
Each year, NSGEU representatives lay wreaths in honour of those who have laid down their lives in the line of duty for the human and labour rights we have today including the freedom of association and the right to free collective bargaining. This year we will be laying wreaths in the Valley, Pictou, Antigonish, and Guysborough, Colchester/Cumberland, South Shore Region; Cape Breton; Metro C will be laying a wreath at Cole Harbour Place; and Metro A will lay a wreath at Province House.
Please note the NSGEU office will be closed Tuesday November 11th in observance of ‘Remembrance Day’. We will return to regular hours of operation on Wednesday November 12th.
Our regular office hours are from 9:00am until 5:00pm – Monday to Friday. With the Labour Resource Center open from 8.30am until 5.30pm – Monday to Friday.
