Reminder: Deadline for Donations to Sock It To Poverty
Just a friendly reminder that if you’d like to make a donation of new socks, mittens, hats or cash for people in need in your community, our donation boxes will be set up until December 15th.
All donations collected in your region stay in your region and will be distributed through your NSGEU Regional Council or your Local. For more information on this campaign, please visit /its-sock-it-to-poverty-time/. To find your local collection site, you can contact your Regional Councillor or Local President (contact us if you require their contact information by calling 1-877-556-7438 or emailing inquiry@nsgeu.ca).
Thank you for your contribution to this important community initiative!
In solidarity,
NSGEU Human Rights Committee
