Local 71C ‘Walk the Line, Before You Cross the Line’: Supporting striking CUPE workers at the CCRSB
Local 71C President, Donna MacGregor sent in a photo of NSGEU Local 71C member Allyson Gouthro, EA. In the photo, Allyson is walking the picket line alongside her co-worker, CUPE Local 3890 member, Dave Myles.
Donna writes that she is encouraging all the members to ‘walk the line, before you cross the line’ in solidarity with CUPE members who have exercised their labour rights and are on strike at the CCRSB.
Note: CUPE just tweeted – the picket lines will be coming down at 1pm today. They have negotiated an end to the strike. (as of 11: 45am – Jan. 28)
