Canadian Federation of Students – Nova Scotia: Day of Action

The Canadian Federation of Students – Nova Scotia is holding a Day of Action on Wednesday, February 4, starting at 12:00 noon at Victoria Park in Halifax (corner of South Park St. and Spring Garden Rd.).

There will be speakers, giant puppets, hot food and drinks, and a march down Spring Garden Road to the Legislature.

Their three key demands are:

• Reduce Tuition Fees
• Convert student loans to grants
• Increase university funding to the national average.
