Rally in Support of Halifax Typographical Union

Dear sisters and brothers,
The unionized workers of The Chronicle Herald are now into the 25th week of their ongoing strike. Tomorrow morning, the Halifax Typographical Union (HTU) and their members are asking supporters to join them for leafleting and information picketing on Spring Garden Road to target companies that continue to advertise with the Chronicle Herald.
Join us at 10:30 a.m. in front of the new Halifax Central Library on Spring Garden Road where we will picket in front of these businesses:
- Â Bryant Realty at 1470 Dresden Row
- Â Touch of Gold at 5640 Spring Garden Place
- Â Domus Realty at 5880 Spring Garden Road
- Â John David Shoes in the Park Lane Mall on Spring Garden
Others will stay in front of the Halifax Central Public Library to hand out leaflets to people passing by and encourage the boycott of the Chronicle Herald.
