Solidarity Rally in Support of IATSE Local 849

As you know IATSE Local 849 has been in a protracted fight with local commercial producer Egg Films as well as dealing with the Liberal government’s gutting of the Film Tax Credit. IATSE is currently holding the Mid Summer General Executive Board meeting in Halifax at the Westin Hotel with over 200 delegates from all over Canada and the US.
International President Matthew Loeb has called for a solidarity rally in support of Local 849 tomorrow at noon in front of the Westin Hotel and we would appreciate the support of you and your members. Please circulate widely and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
