Happy Pride

Happy Pride to our members and allies! Over the next week and a half, many of our members will be celebrating diversity and inclusion while continuing the work of increasing visibility and ending stigma for the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

Halifax Pride events run from Wednesday, July 13 to Sunday, July 24, with the parade being held this Saturday, July 16th.

The NSGEU will be marching with the Nova Scotia Federation of Labour and other unions. Members are welcome to join us! We will be meeting at our new marshalling area near the intersection of Trollope Street and Bell Road, in front of Citadel High School, at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Look for our union flags!
