Long Term Care Day of Action
On Monday, June 27th, CUPE Nova Scotia will be hosting a Provincial Day of Action for Support Workers in Long-term Care. They are finalizing the locations of all of the rallies, but they are scheduled to take place between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
We are encouraging all of our members who work in the sector to take time on their lunch breaks to join CUPE members at the rally in your area, so we can send a strong, united message to government that ALL workers in long-term care are important parts of the health care team! A list of rally locations should be posted here: https://novascotia.cupe.ca/2022/06/09/june-27/
We are going to try and ensure there are NSGEU flags available at rally locations, as well, so keep an eye out for our blue and gold!
