NSGEU Terminates Relationship with AIL
The NSGEU Board of Directors has recently voted to terminate the relationship with American Income Life (AIL), in response to concerns raised by members.
Since 2006, the NSGEU has had an ongoing relationship with specific conditions. That relationship required NSGEU to mail out contact/response cards for AIL to all NSGEU members. If the member made a decision to respond to AIL directly using the contact/response card, an insurance sales representative would contact the member offering the AD&D policy and additional insurance coverage for purchase.
In exchange, NSGEU was provided with a $4,000 Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Policy at no charge for all members, spouse and dependent children. There were no other conditions to the arrangement or financial payments that were part of this arrangement.
It’s important to note that if you purchased an AIL insurance product, your personal insurance will not be impacted by this decision, however, the $4,000 Accidental Death & Dismemberment Policy for all members has been terminated.
