Local 1995 – Cape Breton Regional Police Service General Meeting & Pension Info Session

Dear members,

You will have received a notice from your employer regarding a general meeting to discuss the transfer of the CBRM defined benefit (DB) Pension Plan to the Nova Scotia Public Service Superannuation Plan (PSSP). The meeting details are as follows:

Corinne Carey, Pension and Benefits Officer, will be present on behalf of the NSGEU.

If you are not able to attend the meeting, it will be recorded and posted by your employer on their intranet. The session is being recorded so that everyone has an opportunity to receive the same information.

Additionally, the NSGEU will also be hosting separate information sessions for members of Local 1995 on July 18th, at 1:00 p.m. & 7:15 p.m. in the Classroom at the Grand Lake Road Fire Hall. Corinne will be present to answer any additional questions members may have regarding the proposed transfer.
