NSGEU President commends all those involved in fighting Nova Scotia forest fires
NSGEU President Jason MacLean wants to thank NSGEU members and all others involved in the grueling fight to contain and abate the current wildfires burning in Annapolis, Cumberland, Pictou, Queens and Shelburne counties.
“Many NSGEU members in the Department of Natural Resources are working extended hours in the control centres, in the bush, and in the air, and are doing their best to fight these fires safely and effectively,” says MacLean. “I want to wish them, and all those involved, all the best in their ongoing battle to contain the fires that continue to burn and acknowledge and thank them for their professional work, dedication, and service.”
