REMINDER: Important Town Hall Meetings!

Good afternoon,

Just a reminder that tonight (Monday, March 23) and tomorrow (Tuesday, March 24th) the NSGEU is holding a series of telephone town hall meetings for all acute health care workers throughout the province.

The purpose of these meetings is to discuss the agreement reached with the Premier on the creation of Health Councils under the new Provincial Health Authority’

The meeting will be hosted by NSGEU President Joan Jessome. We realize many of you have questions on how this affects you in bargaining, union representation and your collective agreement. We will also be explaining a vote that is required by the NS Labour Board. It is critical that you make every effort to participate in the call.

You will receive a call for the phone number we have on file for you either tonight or tomorrow evening, depending on the area you work in. If you do not receive a call, you can dial 902-982-2258 for instructions on how to join the event.
